Our track DISC is one of the products that is around for 15 years and has been improved several times.
THE choice by many athletes and National teams. TOgether with World class athletes we have evolved the track
DISC into a special team edition. Already on the track since two years we can now let everyone take advantage.

How you may ask?
The DISC-T LION is reduced in weight by an incredible 50 grams to get it well below 1kg at 975 grams. It has
an Optimised Lenticular Disc Shape that not only brings aerodynamic advantage with most current frame
designs but also increases the stiffness exceptionally. Compared to other leading track wheels the DISC-T LION
brings 20% more stiffness.
The DISC-T LION is available from December 2021 as both rear and front wheel option for 2099 Euro per wheel.
The standard DISC-T with 1K carbon will remain available also as rear and front wheel option for 1399 Euro per
wheel.

Why did you choose for this specific rim width?
Like with the trends on the road there are also changes in tire widths for track bikes. However these are not as
big as for road bikes it still makes sense to have a slightly wider tire bed. For tubular tires the fitting on the rim
defines the shape of the tire as well as how firm you can mount it. Both very viable aspects of track wheels. We
made sure our wheels are right for these purposes.

If the wheel was already in use why available just now?
A development project like this takes a long time through testing of several prototypes to get the ultimate result.
As the wheel has been developed with members of National Federations production capacity was allocated
completely to those orders. We're now able to produce some stock again for other customers.

Why do you still offer both current and new model of the DISC-T?
The original DISC-T is still a very competitive wheel which recently had been updated and can serve a broad
public who do not want to spend more to have the best of the best. The DISC-T LION brings the best shape and
performance for those who count on every detail to result crossing the finish line first.
